Lufthansa's revenue cargo tonne kilometres rise 7.4pc in 2017
LUFTHANSA Group's revenue cargo tonne kilometres in 2017 rose by 7.4 per cent year on year, resulting in the rise of the load factor by 2.7 percentage points compared to 2016, to reach 69.3 per cent for 2017.
The total cargo capacity of the group's airlines, measured in available cargo tonne kilometres, rose by 3.3 per cent in 2017 compared with the previous year, London's Air Cargo News reported.
The German flag carrier said total cargo capacity rose by 6.6 year on year in December, while cargo sales were up 5.8 per cent. The group's cargo load factor decreased 0.5 percentage points in December 2017 to 69.8 per cent.
