SF Airlines starts thrice weekly Nanning-Dhaka freighter service
CHINA's SF Airlines Co has officially launched a chartered freighter service between Nanning and Dhaka. The new route will be operated thrice weekly by a Boeing 737-300/400 freighter.
This marks the carrier's second chartered air freight service for Nanning, after offering flights from Hong Kong to Nanning last year. It also commenced freighter flights on the Kunming-Dhaka route in 2016, reported Logistics Update Africa.
The launch of the Nanning-Dhaka route will provide more logistics choices for the export of local aquatic products, and further improve trade ties between Nanning, Dhaka and the local surrounding areas.
Nanning is expected to play a key role in China's "Belt and Road" initiative. According to the Nanning Logistics Development Plan (2017-2020), Nanning's airfreight sector has been rapidly developing.
