OOCL to launch 'Far East Chennai Service 2' (FCS2) to boost India network
HONG Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) is to inaugurate the Far East Chennai Service 2 (FCS2) to expand the shipping line's current service portfolio by enhancing its India network.
"The FCS2 will offer direct services from China and South East Asia to South East India and together with our recently launched FCS service, OOCL will be able to offer two weekly sailings with a more comprehensive coverage between Far East and India," OOCL said.
The new service will be launched with the first sailing from Shanghai on January 23, 2018, with the following port rotation: Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Shekou, Singapore, Port Kelang (West Port & North Port), Chennai, Kattupalli, Port Kelang (North Port), Singapore before returning to Shanghai.
