APL introduces mobile container tracking app
SINGAPORE's liner carrier APL has launched a new mobile container tracking tool, called APL Box Track, which is designed to help shippers track their containers from the point of loading to delivery destinations.
"Designed to offer convenience and visibility, APL shippers can now trace and track their containers via the application while on the go. Its intuitive interface enables users to bookmark their queried container number for a one-touch access after an initial search," the shipping line said.
The subsidiary of French shipping giant CMA CGM said the results can be shared by email, text message and social media applications installed on the mobile device.
The new APL Box Track application is now available for download from both the Apple iTunes and Google Play stores.
