CMA CGM ups Asia-east Africa rate US$250/TEU from January 1
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has announced a rate increase effective January 1 on cargo from Asia, which includes Korea, Taiwan, Japan, south east Asia and Bangladesh bound for Beira, Maputo, Nacala and Tamatave on its MOZEX service.
Called a General Rate Restoration, the increase of US$250 per TEU will apply to all cargo including dry, reefer, OOG and breakbulk.
