CMA CGM rates to rise from Asia to west coast Mexico to Chile
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has again announced freight rate hikes, this time from the Far East to the west coast of Mexico to Chile.
From January 1, rates on Far East cargo bound for Mexico, west coast of South America will be increased by US$750 per TEU.
CMA CGM also announced the following rates on cargo from Asia to Panama and all Caribbean and Cuban ports will increase by $1,050 per TEU, $1,500 per FEU and 1,500 per FEU high cube from January 1.
