MNX boosts healthcare supply chain offering with Logical acquisition
LONG Beach, California-headquartered MNX Global Logistics has acquired Australian forwarder Logical Freight Solutions (LFS) as it looks to expand its international healthcare supply chain offering.
MNX said the acquisition would complement its international capabilities to deliver time- and temperature-sensitive shipments. MNX's footprint will be particularly enhanced in the Asia-Pacific region with the addition of LFS, which has offices in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the US, reports London's Air Cargo News.
Melbourne-based LFS serves the healthcare industry, including life science, ag-bio, diagnostics, therapeutics, proteomics, medical devices, microbiology, genomics, chemicals, radiopharmaceuticals, instruments, spare parts and all consumables for these industries.
LFS chief executive Steve Cheetham said: "Since its inception, Logical Freight Solutions has steadily built an infrastructure and specialised expertise that provides our customers with true door-to-door service, from internal supplier to end-user.
"Joining MNX further propels the growth of our business and service offerings across new geographies, and gives our customers access to a diversified range of logistics services and new technologies."
