CMA CGM ups rate range from Asia to Mediterranean from November 15
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will increase freight rates on cargo from Asia to various points in the Mediterranean basin that includes the Black Sea starting November 15
"Date of application," said CMA CGM's notice to trade. "From November 15 (date of loading in the origin ports) and until further notice, but not beyond November 30."
Between these dates, to the west Med, rates will be set at US$850 per TEU, $1,450 per FEU and $1,500 per FEU high cube and FEU reefer.
To the Adriatic, the rate will be US$850 per TEU,$1,500 per FEU, and $1,550 per FEU high cube and $1,500 FEU reefer.
To the Black Sea, it will be US$1,400 per TEU, $2,100 per FEU and $2,100 per FEU high cube and FEU reefer.
To the east Med, it will be US$1,400 per TEU, $2,100 per FEU, and $2,100 per FEU high cube and FEU reefer.
To Syria, it will be US$1,400 per TEU, $2,100 per FEU and $2,100 per FEU high cube and FEU reefer.
All outports in Asia and Mediterranean will be subject to additional surcharges
