OOCL cancels Asia-Europe sailing as peak shipping season ends
HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has cancelled Asia-Europe sailings as the demand for shipping declines as the high shipping season comes to an end.
"In response to the expected low demand during the Christmas holiday in Europe, we would like to inform you of the withdrawal of the following Asia-Europe sailings:
Asia - North Europe Service: Loop 3, CSCL URANUS (CUR) 063W/063E. Westbound: ETA Ningbo on November 18 in Week 46 and Eastbound: ETA Antwerp on December 23 in Week 51.
Asia - West Mediterranean Service: WM1, AL RIFFA (AFF) 033W/033E. Westbound: ETA Qingdao on November 20 in Week 47 and Eastbound: ETA La Spezia on December 22 in Week 51.
