CMA CGM levies Asia-South Africa peak season surcharge from Nov 7
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will levy a US$150 per TEU Peak Season Surcharge from November 7 for cargo from Asia bound for South Africa.
The charge will apply to all cargo, dry, reefer, out of gauge (OOG) and breakbulk from Asia including Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh to South Africa.
