Trinity and Etihad jointly launch B777F to Hanoi from Ohio
TRINITY Logistics USA and Eithad Airways have again joined forces to launch a weekly Boeing 777 freighter service between Hanoi in Vietnam and Ohio's Rickenbacker airport (Columbus) in the US.
The US logistics operator and the Middle East carrier already operate a joint twice a week B777F to Asia, from Colombo in Sri Lanka to Rickenbacker. Both services are fixed long-term contracts and scheduled by Etihad, London's Air Cargo News reported.
The flights operate exclusively for Trinity Logistics and support "a multitude of clients from the fashion, retail, and high-tech industries," said the freight forwarder's president, David Pereira.
This is the first time that Hanoi and Columbus have been directly connected, said Mr Pereira, who added: "We expect our flight will be taken advantage of, for the speed and capacity it creates."
Roberto Gilardoni, director of Etihad Cargo, commented: "We are excited to develop a new market with our strategic partner Trinity Logistics. Expectations remain high in terms of our mutual growth plans for the region."
