Asia-Europe rate falls 0.7pc to US$681/TEU, off 0.1pc to USWC
SPOT rates for shipping containers from Asia to northern Europe in the week ending Friday fell 0.7 per cent to US$681 per TEU, according to the Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI).
Asia-Mediterranean trade dropped 0.9 per cent to $646 per TEU, American Shipper reported.
Asia to the US west coast tumbled 0.1 per cent week over week to $1,366 per FEU while those to the east coast down 2.6 per cent to $1,755 per FEU.
