CMA CGM has revised the IPS51 surcharge (International Ship and Port Facility Security) for all cargo types transported from ports worldwide to Ghana.
The surcharge will be US$47 per TEU and $94 per FEU.
The surcharge will come into effect on November 5 (the loading date at all origin ports except those in the US since the gate-in date for US origins is subject to Federal Maritime Commission filing).
Bunker-related surcharges, terminal handling charges (origin and destination), security-related surcharges, contingency charges and local charges may also apply, a statement from the shipping line said.
