Shreyas takes its biggest containership to date
INDIA's Shreyas Shipping & Logistics, the Indian-flagged vessel owning unit of Transworld Group, is linked to its biggest ship to date.
Brokers say it has added the 4,253-TEU Queens Quay from ER Schiffahrt, paying US$8.5 million for the 2003-built ship, Singapore's Splash 24/7.
Shreyas is a transshipment company providing coastal container shipping services in India. The services include Indian coastal feeder services and a weekly coastal service between India's main ports and direct connections from India to the Middle East.
The company is listed with 10 containerships, all of which are no bigger than 3,000 TEU.
