CMA CGM rate hikes from Far East to Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has announced a US$200 per TEU rate increase from October 15 on containers from all Far East ports bound for Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka.
Also from October 15, the company's FAK Tariff Guidelines, excluding THCs, are will be $550 per TEU, $750 per FEU from China base ports to Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Hazira, excluding THCs.
From China base ports to Qasim and Karachi, again excluding THCs, will be $650 per TEU and $950 per FEU.
From October 29 containers from all Asian ports to Pakistan, India and will be charged an additional $200 per TEU.
