American Airlines Cargo bags Quest for Quality award after survey
AMERICAN Airlines Cargo has received a Quest for Quality award for the second year in a row in the annual customer satisfaction and performance excellence survey conducted by the Peerless Group (PRG) and Logistics Management magazine.
The survey was undertaken during the first half of the year. Almost 5,500 survey respondents cast their ballot across a number of criteria, which saw the airline recognised as the best for its service excellence globally, a statement from the carrier said.
Said Peerless Group editorial director Michael Levans: "When you consider the challenging environment in which transportation and logistics service providers have had to manage during the past year, we believe that walking away with a Quest for Quality Award in 2017 is nothing less than a monumental achievement."
Receiving the trophy at a gala awards ceremony in Atlanta was American's cargo operations and trucking manager, Kim Trahan, who said: "Awards like this matter the most since they are voted on by the professionals within our industry who use our services week in and week out."
