Hapag-Lloyd increases rates by US$300/TEU from NE Asia to OZ
GERMANY's shipping giant, Hapag Lloyd, is to increase rates for all cargo and all container types from North East Asia to Australia.
According to the shipping line, the rates will be hiked by US$300 per TEU, effective October 15. North East Asia comprises Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, American Journal of Transportation reported.
