OOCL cancels Asia-Europe sailings due to 'low demand' in October
HONG Kong's Orient Overseas Container Liner (OOCL) announced the cancellation of eight sailings on the eastbound and westbound services between Asia and North Europe and Asia and West Mediterranean due to the "expected low demand after the China National Day holiday" in October.
On the Asia-North Europe service, Loop 3 Taurus (TUS) 006W/E (ETA Ningbo on October 7 in Week 40 on WB, and ETA Antwerp on November 11 in Week 45 on EB) is cancelled.
Also Loop 5 CMA CGM Christophe Colomb (CGO) 065W/066E (ETA Qingdao on October 8 in Week 41 on WB, and ETA Rotterdam on November 13 in Week 46 on EB) is cancelled.
On the Asia-West Mediterranean service, the WM1 Cosco Faith (SHF) 032W/E (ETA Qingdao on October 9 in Week 41 on WB, and ETA La Spezia on November 10 in Week 45 on EB) is cancelled.
The WM2 CMA CGM Callisto (CLO) 243W/244E (ETA Qingdao on October 4 in Week 40 on WB, and ETA Valencia on November 7 in Week 45 on EB) is cancelled.
