Asia-Europe rate drops 0.4pc to US$931/TEU, off 1.2pc to USWC
SPOT rates for shipping containers from Asia to northern Europe in the week ending Friday declined 0.4 per cent to US$931 per TEU, according to theShanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI).
Asia-Mediterranean trade dropped 1.2 per cent to $849 per TEU. Asia to the US west coast down 1.2 per cent week-over-week to $1,641 per FEU while those to the east coast down 1.5 per cent to $2,620 per FEU.
