Shanghai July cargo up 5.2pc to 3.44 million TEU, rising 4.2pc year to date
THE Port of Shanghai's July container volume increased 5.2 per cent year on year to 3.44 million TEU, according to statistics from the Shanghai International Port (Group) Co (SIPG).
Year to date, throughput increased 4.2 per cent increase year on year to 22.04 million TEU, compared to 21.16 million TEU in the same period the year before. Box volumes for July on a month-on-month comparison, were up 1.2 per cent.
