Austrian logistics service provider Gebruder Weiss opens Hong Kong and Guangdong
AUSTRIAN logistics provider Gebruder Weiss is extending operations from Hong Kong to open offices in Shenzhen, Zhanjiang and Guangzhou to serve the Greater Bay Area.
The new locations offer services ranging from storage and distribution to e-commerce solutions with webshop systems, in addition air and sea freight, said a company statement.
Gebruder Weiss, which has been operating in Shanghai since 1992, also aims to continue to establish its industry expertise in areas such as the automotive or high-tech sectors.
"The Pearl River Delta, with Guangdong province and neighbouring Hong Kong, is one of the highest performing economic regions in China," said Gebruder Weiss Hong Kong and Guangdong manager Michael Zankel.
