ZIM wins second quarter Asia-Med on-time joust, says SeaIntel
ISRAELI flag carrier Zim was named the best performing carrier in the Asia-Mediterranean trade in the second quarter on-time ranking with a score of 97.2 per cent in SeaIntel's on-time report.
ZIM was also rated the most reliable carrier on the Europe-Asia eastbound leg in June with an on-time performance of 84.8 per cent.
Zim's new network, introduced in April 2017, includes the ZMP service, offering a link between Asia and the East Med/Black sea ports with connections to regional lines, and the India Med Express service (IMX).
Said Zim vice president Rani Ben Yehuda: "Our new strategy as an independent carrier is focused on customer service. We invest in better schedule reliability."
