Lufthansa Cargo to wrap cool freight in film to offer protection from the sun

LUFTHANSA Cargo has announced that each piece refrigerated cargo it airlifts worldwide will from now on be protected by a reflective film produced exclusively for the carrier to protect chilled goods from the sun.

The move comes since Lufthansa Cargo commenced the expansion of it Cool Centre in Frankfurt and the company introduced the "Road Feeder Service Cool," in a bid to expand its market share of the refrigerated freight sector.

The innovative reflective film provides sensitive shipments with optimum protection against sunlight on airport tarmacs around the world, even on hot summer days.
