Amsterdam Schiphol air cargo volume increases 9.8pc in June
AMSTERDAM Airport Schiphol saw cargo volume rise 9.8 per cent year on year in June, while the number of freighter flights rose 3.9 per cent.
In the first six months of the year, cargo volume at the airport increased 8.7 per cent, and the number of air transport movements climbed 4.9 per cent year on year.
In June, passenger numbers grew 7.1 per cent to reach 6.1 million. This figure was the result of 3.8 per cent more flight movements, larger aircraft and an increased load factor.
