Maersk signs Hamburg's ER Schiffahrt to run three 8,400-TEUers
MAERSK has signed Hamburg's ER Schiffahrt to a bareboat management contract to operate the 8,400-TEU Maersk Saigon, Maersk Stralsund and Maersk Seoul, bringing the number of Schiffahrt-managed Maersk ships to nine.
"We are pleased to manage three further vessels for Maersk Line and thus be able to deepen the successful partnership that we started one and a half years ago" said ER Schiffahrt CEO Nils Aden.
ER Schiffahrt provides maritime services to containerships and bulk carriers, and controls 80 vessels, employing 3,000 ashore and afloat.
