CMA CGM levies US$120/TEU 'additional' fee to/from Seychelles
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has announced a new charge for the "Port Additional" in Seychelles will be introduced from August,
The "Port Additional" surcharge in Seychelles is applicable in addition to the ocean freight for cargo import and cargo export to and from Seychelles, subject to the following conditions:
From August 1 from the Seychelles to worldwide destinations will be applied to all containers at US$120 per TEU; from worldwide destinations except the US at $120 per TEU. And from August 15 to and from US points, the charge will be $120 per TEU.
