FMC fines NVOCs US$925,000 for charging more than published tariffs
THE Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has fined eight non-vessel-operating common carriers NVOCs US$925,000 for charging more than their published tariffs forbidden under the Shipping Act, reported American Shipper.
Those fined included Brilliant Group Logistics Corp, King Freight (USA), Interglobo North America, Fastic Transportation Co of Shanghai and Pudong Prime International Logistics.
