Vanguard Logistics launches new e-fulfillment connecting service
VANGUARD Logistics Services, on Long Beach, launched an easy quote and ocean transport booking system from Asia with direct to the door of e-commerce links to distribution centres globally, the company announced.
With an all-in rate and service controlled end-to-end by major LCL operator Vanguard, freight forwarders and their customers will benefit from the low cost service with Vanguard's single-point control.
"The e-commerce revolution is driving new network designs for smaller cargo lots closer to the customer for which efficient transport is paramount," said Vanguard vice president Robert Sutton.
"Through this network of CFSes and integrated trucking partners, Vanguard is uniquely positioned among less-than-container-load NVOs to deliver domestic and international integration and product innovation for customers," Mr Sutton said.
With rates and booking available online, Vanguard delivers clients speed to market and enhanced experience to their customers, said the company statement.
Founded in 1978, Vanguard has been a freight consolidators across the LCL NVOCC landscape for 40 years. Vanguard has since expanded to more than 120 owned offices spread across nearly 35 countries with partners and agents in more than 100 countries.
