MCC Transport names new boss as Wichmann departs after 9 years as CEO
Maersk Line's Singapore-based intra-Asia specialist MCC Transport has announced the departure of Tim Wichmann after nine years as CEO and 27 years in the Maersk organisation.
Bo Wegener, Maersk Line's south east Asia managing director, will take the helm while Rupesh Jain, Maersk country manager will take over Mr Wegener's job.
Maersk's Asia-Pacific chief Robbert van Trooijen expressed confidence in the new appointments but made no comment on Mr Wichmann's sudden departure.
