Shanghai May volumes increase 14.6pc to 3.54 million TEU
SHANGHAI, still the world's busiest container port, posted even higher volumes in May, rising 14.6 per cent year on year to 3.54 million TEU.
According to statistics from Shanghai International Port (Group) Co (SIPG) May volumes increased 7.9 per cent against April numbers.
Year to date, throughput went up 9.9 per cent to 16.21 million TEU against the 14.75 million TEU throughput posted in the same period last year.
