Brisbane's Pacific Air Express approved to fly cargo to China
BRISBANE cargo carrier Pacific Air Express (PAE) has operationally advanced to then point where the International Air Services Commission has granted it unlimited Australian capacity and frequency on the China route.
The Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development's Register of Available Capacity notes "there are no limitations in relation to frequency, capacity or aircraft type for dedicated cargo services between Australia and China," reports Perth's Aircargo Asia-Pacific.
PAE managing director Gary Clifford said will "seek to continue to develop trade routes using freighters by introducing a scheduled service, linking northern Australia and the south west Pacific region with China.
"The proposed service will operate between Brisbane and Guangzhou using Boeing 757-200F aircraft with 32 tonnes freight capacity. Commencement of this service is planned for mid-November 2017."
