CMA CGM surcharges US$250/TEU for W Africa-bound boxes over 19 tons
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will levy and overweight surcharge on all cargo from China to West Africa from June 19, the company announced.
The US$250 per TEU charge will apply to dry cargo containers with a gross weight of more than 19 tons bound for Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria.
