Maersk Line announces Qatar cargo bookings can now resume
MAERSK Line has now re-opened acceptance of cargo booking to/from Qatar to be transshipped via Salalah, in Oman, the company announced.
"Booking acceptance for cargo to/from Qatar is open for all countries except UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and Yemen, in compliance with the government guidelines," said a company statement.
The world's biggest shipping line said its customers will soon begin to avail themselves of a feeder to/from Salalah in Oman.
The first sailing ex-Salalah is on June 19, and arrives at Doha on June 25, a service that sails every 10 days.
