Asia-Europe rate remains flat at US$935/TEU, but falls 9.6pc to USWC
SPOT rates for shipping containers from Asia to northern Europe in the week ending Friday remained flat at US$935 per TEU, compared to $933 per TEU last week, according to the Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI).
Asia-Mediterranean trade slipped 1.7 per cent to $904 per TEU, The Loadstar reported.
Asia to the US west coast dropped 9.6 per cent week over week to $1,277 per FEU while those to the east coast were off 8 per cent to $2,233 per FEU.
