Asia-Europe rate continues weekly rise, up 1.6pc to US$880/TEU
SPOT rates for shipping containers from Asia to northern Europe rose per cent to US$880 per TEU in the week ending Friday, according to the Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI).
This is the third consecutive week the rate has risen. The rate has also remained above $800 per TEU since the end of November.
