Ethiopian Airlines starts new cargo services to Milan, Tarragona
Africa抯 largest cargo operator, Ethiopian Airlines, has expanded by launching two new cargo services to Milan and Tarragona, reports Aviation Tribune.
"Air freight plays a critical role in trade and especially in the carriage of high-value goods, temperature controlled cargo like flowers, fruit and vegetables and pharmaceuticals," said Ethiopian CEO TewoldeGebre Mariam. "This move will further strengthen trade and commercial ties between Africa and Europe," he said.
Currently, Ethiopian is providing the European market with a minimum weekly capacity of 2,200 tonnes from Liege, deploying its modern fleet of Boeing 777 Freighters.
