CMA CGM to increase rates from Europe to Indian subcontinent in May
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has issued a range of May rate increases affecting trade lanes from Europe to the Indian subcontinent from May 1.
CMA CGM Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates will rise US$1,550 per TEU and $1,650 per FEU from the European northern range to Pakistan and Northwest India from May 1.
And from Malta to Pakistan and Northwest India rates will increase $900 per TEU and $1,100 per FEU from May 1.
From Greece to Pakistan and Northwest India rates will increase $800 per TEU and $1,000 per FEU from May 1.
From Cyprus to Pakistan and Northwest India rates will increase $1,300 per TEU and $1,700 per FEU from May 1.
From northern Europe to Cochin and Tuticorin rates will increase $1,650 per TEU and $1,750 per FEU from May 1.
From northern Europe to Chennai rates will increase $1,600 per TEU and $1,700 per FEU from May 1.
From Cyprus to Chennai, Cochin and Tuticorin rates will increase $1,200 per TEU and $1,700 per FEU from May 1.
From Greece to Chennai, Cochin and Tuticorin rates will increase $1,200 per TEU and $1,700 per FEU from May 1.
From Malta to Chennai, Cochin and Tuticorin rates will increase $1,100 per TEU and $1,500 per FEU from May 1.
From northern Europe to Colombo rates will increase $1,650 per TEU and $1,750 per FEU from May 1.
From Cyprus to Colombo rates will increase $1,600 per TEU and $2,200 per FEU from May 1.
From Greece to Colombo rates will increase $1,300 per TEU and $1,900 per FEU from May 1.
From Malta to Colombo rates will increase $1,300 per TEU and $1,900 per FEU from May 1.
New FAK rates will apply to Chinese main ports and will include the basic freight and subject to the bunker related surcharges, THCs, peak season charges and other levies, all accessible at http://www.cma-cgm.com/ebusiness/tariffs/charge-finder.
