Hapag-Lloyd ups Far East-subcontinent rate US$250/TEU from April 15
GERMAN shipping giant Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for all cargo and all container types from the Far East including Japan and Oceania to the Indian subcontinent by US$250 per TEU from April 15.
The Indian subcontinent is defined as being the ports of Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India for the purposes of this rate restoration.
