500 lbs of marijuana seized on vessel in San Pedro Bay, Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES Port Police have netted 500 pounds of marijuana in San Pedro Bay found onboard an unoccupied boat at the Cabrillo Beach Launch Ramp.
Detectives within the Los Angeles Border Enforcement Security Task Force (LA BEST) are continuing the investigation in collaboration with Port Police, reported American Shipper.
LA BEST is tasked with protecting the Los Angeles/Long Beach seaport complex and is made up of personnel US Customs and Border Protection, Drug Enforcement Administration, Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Los Angeles Port Police, and Long Beach Police Department.
