NYK is 'Best Green Shipping Line' for four years in a row
FOR a fourth consecutive year, Japan's NYK has been selected "Best Green Shipping Line" by HAROPA, a joint venture comprising the French ports of Le Havre, Rouen, and Paris.
Since 2012, HAROPA has evaluated vessels calling its three ports and recognised shipping companies attaining high scores on the Environmental Ship Index (ESI).
"NYK will continue its efforts to contribute to the realisation of a global environment and sustainable society, aiming to be a leading company in the safety and environmental field," the Japanese shipping line said in a statement.
