CMA CGM ups rate US$500/TEU Asia-W Africa, $1,500 to Panama
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will levy a US$500 per TEU rate increase on all cargo from Asia, which includes Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh to West Africa from April 1.
CMA CGM will also levy an increase of US$1,500 per TEU, FEU and FEU-high cubed on cargo from Asia to Panama, the Caribbean and Cuba on its PEX2 service from March 15.
