OOCL combines southeast Asia Australia Service AAA1/AAA2 into New AAA
HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announces the combining of the existing AAA1 and AAA2 loops into the New AAA, which provides a network served by six postpanamax containerships.
"As one of the vessel operators, we are committed to meeting the needs of customers in this trade," said the OOCL statement.
"The New AAA product will cover all key markets and provide competitive transit times between Southeast Asia and Australian ports," it said.
The other Southeast Asia-Australia services that offers will remain unchanged. Coverage of the southeast Asia network via either Singapore or Port Kelang will continue.
The service is to commence from Laem Chabang on April 24, and the new port rotation is as follows: Laem Chabang, Singapore, Port Kelang, Fremantle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle, Singapore and back to Laem Chabang.
