China Cosco and Chery agree to auto shipping partnership
CHINA's domestic auto manufacturer Chery has signed a strategic partnership agreement with China Cosco Shipping to enable the carrier to continue expanding its automobile shipping business.
In January and February, China Cosco Shipping signed partnership agreements with Chinese auto makers BAIC and FAW, reported Splash 24/7.
Cosco Shipping Specialised Carriers, formerly Cosco Shipping, operates six pure car carriers; and established a car shipping joint venture, NYKCOS, with Japan's Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK).
