2M Alliance makes changes to services - adding Wilmington, NC call
THE 2M shipping alliance of Mediterranean Shipping Company and Maersk Line has altered its transatlantic network to add a call at the port of Wilmington, North Carolina, and a second weekly call to the port of Savannah, starting from April 1.
The port rotation of the string MSC calls the NEUTAL2 and Maersk brands the TA2 will then be: New York, Bremerhaven, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Le Havre, New York, Baltimore, Norfolk, Wilmington, Savannah and New York, American Shipper reported.
According to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting, the loop currently deploys four vessels with an average capacity of 4,867 TEU.
