Real United States GDP growth up 3.5pc in fourth quarter
US REAL domestic product (GDP) increased at an annual rate of 3.5 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2016, according to US Bureau of Economic Analysis.
The bureau said the 1.9 fourth-quarter "advance gross" GDP estimate is based on incomplete source data and subject to further revision, reports the American Journal of Transportation.
The 'second" estimate for the fourth quarter, based on more complete data, will be released on February 28.
