iContainers opens in Rotterdam part of three-year expansion plan
ONLINE freight forwarder iContainers has opened a new branch at the port of Rotterdam.
iContainers' platform, which allows users to access thousands of ocean freight routes and quotes within seconds, compares, books, manages and keeps track of commercial shipments from the Internet without intermediaries, according to American Shipper.
iContainers said the new office in Rotterdam is a crucial part of its three-year expansion plan, in which it aims to strengthen its grip on the ocean freight market by placing itself in main strategic logistics hubs throughout the world.
In addition to the new office in Rotterdam, iContainers already had offices in Florida; Ahmedabad, India; and at its headquarters in Barcelona, Spain.
