MOL to levy US$1,000/TEU Asia-Mexico and WCSA rate hike Feb 15
JAPANESE shipping giant MOL has announced it will levy a general rate increase (GRI) on all cargo moving from Asia to Mexico and the West Coast South America.
Starting February 15, the GRI will be US$1,000 per TEU, $1,500 per FEU and $1,500 per reefer from Asia to Mexico ports on the West Coast South America.
No reasons were given for the GRI in the company announcement.
