Houston dredging conference addresses regulatory restraints

A NORTH American dredging conference will be held in Houston on February 8-9 focusing on advancing dredging technology as well as overcoming environmental and legislative constraints.

This ACI North American Dredging Summit follows European editions of ACI's Dredging Summit series.



The North American edition will concentrate on operational and technical challenges in dredging project management in the international dredging industry.



Also discussed will be the problems arising from regulation, focussing on key factors facilitating growth and competitiveness in the US dredging market.



The two-day conference will consist of a number of informative presentations followed by questions from the floor, panel discussions, which provide insight into different aspects of dredging as well as open discussion to further involve delegates.



Delegate will be joined by leading companies, port authorities, harbour masters, port managers, bulk terminals managers, marine engineers, geotechnical engineers, infrastructure managers, operations managers, port engineers, hydrographic surveyors, geologists, civil and environmental engineers, dredging contractors and dredging technology providers.
