Baggage handler trapped in cargo hold on UA flight to Washington
A BAGGAGE handler working for United Airlines was accidentally locked into the cargo hold of UA's one-hour flight from Charlotte-Douglas to Washington-Dulles.
During the flight the aircraft梑elieved to be a 50-seat Embraer 170 - reached an altitude of 27,000 feet. The carrier said the worker, employed by a groundhandling vendor, was unharmed and that an investigation would be launched, reported London's Air Cargo News.
