LATAM Cargo's online booking offers options for global shipments

LATAM Cargo, a company that has a leading air freight network in Latin America with major international connectivity, is offering customers a new online booking system to ensure the delivery of its products, including those for pharma shipments, live animals and urgent shipments with a new portfolio that offers up to 19 transport combinations across the supply chain.

"The factor that most influenced our new product portfolio is the current needs of our customers. We designed our products aligning these needs with our commercial strategy, which is based on agility, reliability and trust. Through this product portfolio, with clearly defined service standards," said CEO Cristian Ureta.

The new portfolio will initially be available for cargo originating in North America and Europe, while in South America implementation will take place gradually during the first quarter of 2017, reported American Journal of Transportation.

The company underwent an internal transformation over the course of a two-year period to develop new processes, systems and structures, as well as modified its existing services in preparation for this new offering.
